Education

Education in its broadest, general sense is the means through which the aims and habits of a group of people lives on from one generation to the next. Generally, it occurs through any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts. In its narrow, technical sense, education is the formal process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills, customs and values from one generation to another, e.g., instruction in schools. A right to education has been created and recognized by some jurisdictions: Since 1952, Article 2 of the first Protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights obliges all signatory parties to guarantee the right to education. At the global level, the United Nations' International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of 1966 guarantees this right under its Article 13. From Wikipedia under the

You don't need an education unless you plan to do something that requires it. The reason we go to school is because if parents didn't send their children to school they'd be fined; if they refuse to pay the fine, people in blue costumes with guns will come to take their children away and throw them in a cage; if they resist this aggression they'll be shot. The same will happen to anyone who refuses to pay for this "service" regardless of whether they have children attending school or not. Answered by Dr. Moohorn - Mon Jan 18 19:26:03 2010 How much Education is required before an individual is considered for a position?
Q. Working Adults are advancing their careers. (If they are working, why would they need more education)? Since 1946 we have provided hundreds of thousands of people with practical real world education, aimed at advancing their careers. That is the message I received. Yet no-one in this area is working. So how much education is required before an individual is considered for a position? Asked by - Sat Jul 9 09:00:00 2011 - Law & Ethics - 6 Answers - Comments A. I am a collector of college degrees in various fields, but education is only a piece of the puzzle when being considered for a profession. In addition, you need to have work experience. Many people with limited education or vocational education make very good money and are happy in their professions. Answered by - Sat Jul 9 10:00:47 2011 From Yahoo Answer Search: "education" |
